You talk with a weird accent. LOL I agree with your rant on Hanna Barbara’s Scooby Doo! I love 1980s cartoons though, much better than the flash gunge of today on Cartoon Network!
There were a few well-animated cartoons in the 80s, of course they were very few.
I do feel its a bit hard to compare the american animation in the 80s although, it could be that the companies were simply trying to the get prime time spot to sell their merchandises which is not much different in today’s culture as well.

Most of the 2000’s Cartoons are Spongebob Ripoffs.
Even though I was born in 1992, I’ve seen lots of cartoons.
I have to say, even though I agree that cartoons of the 1990’s were great, the 1980’s cartoons were also good.
It’s modern cartoons that are horrible.
Most cartoons today lack the charm, the cleverness, the imagination, the writing, the comedy, the action, the intelligence, & anything else that past shows had. A perfect example of a horrible modern cartoon is The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. But I’ll rant another day.

all HB Cartoons were shit from the mid 60s until they hired Tartakovsky in 1993

Yeah pretty much that, they just speak and walk, It doesn’t seems like a cartoon, and there is to many versions! They’re still make more episodes.
Scooby Doo is Hanna Barbera’s Hanna Montana.
Youre right, even joe barbera admited he hated scooby doo, It was made by Iwao, one of his employes. But joe hated It.
I could say that although I do like some 80’s cartoons, I’m more of a 90’s fan myself.
Anyway, ANY cartoon from there or the 90’s is better than most of the shows on today.
